Traditional Chinese Medicine

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) takes the wisdom and success of one of the world’s most ancient forms of medicine and refines it for the 21st century patient.

These 4 pillars are the foundation of TCM:

  • Acupuncture & Cupping
  • Botanical Medicine and Nutrition
  • Chinese Medical massage (Tui Na)
  • Therapeutic Exercise (Qi Gong & Taichi)

The goal of TCM is to bring the body into balance. Disease occurs when the balance has been disturbed, preventing the body from functioning at its optimal ability. The body is interconnected, therefore if one organ or body system is not working, then it must impact another part of the body which then presents as a dysfunction or illness.

By achieving health through balance, TCM and acupuncture address the underlying cause of illness by focusing on the root of the imbalance. Each treatment builds on the previous bringing you back to balance and wellness.

What to expect

Your first visit will be very thorough where you will be able to share your story. To properly diagnose your imbalance, we will be able to identify your imbalances through your presenting patterns. From there, we will set up a unique personalized treatment tailored to your needs. You will then be able to relax and enjoy a restful and rejuvenating treatment.
